The Cantina di Venosa is among the most renowned winery in Southern Italy. Founded in 1957, by 27 promoting partners, it has bet on the quality production of wine from the Aglianico grape. Their product can compete at the same level as the noble Amarone and Barolo. Located in the municipality of Venosa, it is the most important producer of Aglianico grapes in the Vulture area.
The vine shoot that decorates each bottle in the Cescon winery symbolises the link with tradition and the teachings of its founder. The focus on the process from the land to the bottle defines Cescon more as a craftsman than a wine producer. That's why is one of the most special wineries in the Venetian area.
For Montanina, research into traditions is the fundamental starting point to arrive at a product with a surprisingly modern taste. Claudio Mariotto was first mover in the early 90s to believe in the abandoned native vine Timorasso. The result is a great Piedmontese white wine suitable for aging. He also produces an excellent Barbera as it was traditionally made, a refreshing wine to drink at any time of the day. The winery is located in Vho in the south-eastern tip of Piedmont.
Andrea and Donatella founded in 2021 the winery that bears the name of their daughter: Nina Trinca.
